Euro-BioImaging - Call for Nodes 2021
Opens 22 Nov 2021 06:00 (CET)
Deadline 31 May 2022 23:59 (CEST)
Description

Welcome to the Euro-BioImaging Call for Nodes!

In order to keep its technology portfolio up to date and to provide the best possible geographical coverage to life scientists across Europe, Euro-BioImaging ERIC organizes regularly Calls for Nodes.

Cutting-edge imaging facilities hosted by Euro-BioImaging member states or prospective member states, which are supported by their national authorities to become a Node of this pan-European Research Infrastructure, are invited to submit their Expression of Interest. These facilities should demonstrate:

  • Readiness to provide open user access
  • Need of their services by the scientific community
  • Support from national funders
  • Commitment of the hosting institution(s)
  • A solid cost concept for the offered services

More information on the documentation that needs to be provided can be found in the Document Gallery of the Euro-BioImaging Web Portal, in the section 'Call for Nodes 2021', as well as in the instructions provided in this site, after login.

In case the applying facility is located in a country which already hosts one or more Euro-BioImaging Nodes, the applicant is strongly encouraged to connect with the existing Node(s) and submit an Expression of Interest for Node Upgrade (see below) rather than form a new Node.

The deadline for applications is 31 January 2021. After this date, all the Expression of Interests received will be evaluated by the Euro-BioImaging’s Scientific Advisory Board and independent senior experts in the field.

Results of the external evaluation are expected by Spring 2021.

Please note: existing Nodes that wish to include new facilities in their structure are invited to submit their application for upgrade here.

If at any time of the application process you have questions, please feel free to contact the Euro-BioImaging Hub Office by sending an email to info@eurobioimaging.eu.

We are looking forward to your Expression of Interest!
